After a few years away from the USA, it was wonderful to be back at the Entomological Society of America (ESA) meeting, and this time during the huge International Congress of Entomology (ICE)!! I also had the opportunity to catch up with colleagues, collaborators and old friends as well.
The co-hosts for ICE did a wonderful introduction on Sunday night, and the plenary session was really well done too. However, I have never been to a meeting of this size, and with over 6,600 people in attendance, it was truly massive! Here's a few pictures from the venue and during the week-long conference. We also managed a day trip to Juniper Springs for a canoe-based tour of the flora and fauna before leaving central Florida.
